Artificial Intelligence

Most people are fascinated by the subject of artificial intelligence, or AI. The idea of a computer, a mere box of parts, which demonstrates abilities that we have always considered to be solely and uniquely human, is shattering to most of us. And the concept becomes even more shattering, more destructive to our self-esteem, when we consider that many computer scientists believe that computers may eventually be able not only to match human intellectual capacities, but far outstrip the.

The concept of intelligent computers evokes strong responses. Some people find the idea interesting and challenging. Others find it horrifying. But whatever one's feelings may be in regard to artificial intelligence, it is impossible to deny that researchers in this field have made enormous strides in recent years.

Here we will be exploring various fields of artificial intelligence. Problem-solving, creativity, communication with computers "in plain English"-all of these are covered.
